Out of the noughties and into the.... well it hasn't actually been confirmed what the next decade will be called yet. The tens, tenners and tenties have been nominated, whatever it is lets hope its better than the noghties, christ...
I suppose tenties would fit.. - eighties, nineties, noughties, tenties... right? But tens seems to sound better to me. Fuck it, roll on the tens!
The tossers over at the dailymail and the sun only care about shaming this country sadly, as you can see from the photo's above. Go out and celebrate the new year fucking hell instead of walking around taking shitty flicks of people. Fucking hate journalists. I'm sure it was the same last night WORLDWIDE but you don't see other journalists doing that. The sun and dailymail didn't even have any fucking photo's of the fireworks! Taking the piss
Anyway heres some shit from last night. Who was out there? Was fucking manik! A full moon and even snow -
More than 3,000 police officers were on duty in central London as part of a huge operation to deal with the crowds.
Officers in London made a total of 78 arrests by 3.30am, a Metropolitan Police spokesman said.
A total of 18 people were arrested for being drunk and disorderly, 16 for assault, 14 for public order offences, 11 for possession of drugs, four for immigration offences, four for handling stolen goods and three for sexual offences.
Two were held for criminal damage, two after being wanted on warrant, two for possession of an offensive weapon, one for illegal trading and one for non-payment of a fine.
They were all taken to London police stations, the spokesman said.
Two people were rescued from the Thames in separate incidents by officers from the Met's Marine Support Unit and the RNLI.
