Article released today
The article has finally gone up as I've seen on a few news websites and surprisingly there are still no tags put on any of the names which is not something you usually see. The BTP claim that they are aware and charged each person with a certain tag but I will not post any of their tags up as I don't know exactly what they were charged for at this time.
I've tried getting answers out of people that were present but they are just idiots to tell you the truth, I've had about 10 different answers to who got sentenced with what, all from people that were present in the court including gf's, family and friends aswel.
The official sentences that were handed out are:
Scott - 18 months
Ben - 6 months
Frazer - 15 months
Stephen - 6 months & 2 years suspended
Adam - 15 months
Jason - 9 months

“Together with the British Transport Police, we gathered together a strong file of evidence which included photographs found on the defendants home computers. Painting graffiti on trains is wrong, and should be illegal, however, prison does not work and thats a fact. A criminal collage which is not the place for these gents.

I made it down for the opening night of this exhibition to a welcoming of free drink and familiar faces....

PROLIFIC TUBE GRAFFITI GANG TO BE SENTENCED
Graffiti vandals who caused £270,000 damage to Tube and train carriages will be sentenced at Isleworth Crown Court on 27/11/09.
The group of six men, all aged 20-23 from the West London area pleaded guilty in October to more than 125 criminal damage offences over a two-year period from February 2006 to November 2007.
The prolific offenders would go out mainly at night and break into train depots and stations to commit crimes.
About 40 of the offences were on the Tube and the rest were on southern train operators.
The investigation began after a car was pulled over in Twickenham by police responding to an ANPR alert which linked the car to a theft of champagne. In the boot of the red Fiat Punto, police found an assortment of spray cans, bolt cutters, gloves and several photos of sprayed trains.
BTP Detective Chief Inspector Kevin Shanahan said:
“Cameras at stations and depots filmed their brazen acts of vandalism and we used this footage to get clear facial images of them.
“They were intent on criminality and went to great lengths to plan their attacks on trains.
“They did not commit random acts of vandalism but conspired together to go out and commit crime.
“During one house search we found more than 400 photographs of the damage they had caused to trains.”

Not been on the site much this week, with the small time I've been online its been spent sorting out photo's for the update. A nice selection already sent in, and just to make it aware, we have had a few random photo's and some nice yard shots being sent in. Please feel free to send them over aswel.
There is still no official date for it yet, (reguardless of the facebook event) confirmation on this soon.
2 Runners in 2 days
I've been out and about abit this week, and for the first time in 4 YEARS I have seen a tube panel running!
I caught something else aswel yesterday, and I've heard theres also a couple more things running around which is good news. I used to bench twice a week a few good years ago, but its definently worth keeping an eye out if you're out and about of late. I see some unfinished stuff on a southwest last week and something else the week before on southern.

interesting image piece done outside Parisian musician Serge Gainsbourg’s home. The short film shows graffiti that was painted continuously between a five year span on one wall in the street of Verneuil, Paris. The footage took thousands of photographs to create and was transformed into 3D effect seen in this video.

I really couldn't give a fuck about either team here nor would I bother watching this game, but this is just sickening. Skipped past it in the papers but had to react when I see it on youtube and then react further after hearing the track from this video...
Am I the only one outraged that this lunatic has used the stickerbrush symphony from the 1995 Snes version of donkey kong country 2? Good to hear it again but well out of place there mate. Fucking youtube tossers.
Epic music, 16 bit music at its best in fact that pushed the boundaries and was way ahead of its time. Great memories from the past, this tune kind of makes you think back about your life, good times, and regrets...
Seriously thinking of going and downloading that game on the wii right now.
It's been a long and emotional night incase you ain't already picked up.... Re-live them memories..
..But anyway while we're on, or were on the topic of sport, here is an outrageous article from Staines news that someone showed me, about the FA Cup tie with Millwall next week.
I thought it was some joke at first but its actually not. If you think the article is funny then check out those comments below. A great read!

London Handstyles review
I've got a London Handstyles review for you today, and I'll have a couple more book reviews for you at some point in the week... better late than never!
Sorry for the late one, I was away for a couple of months for those that don't know. And to add even more delay on my free books arriving, well.. you can blame the royal mail on that one......

Also featured are words, quotes and legendary tales from 35 of London's most prolific writers from the last 3 decades. The book is now on sale via the website London Handstyles and at Chrome & Black East London or HQ in Brixton.
With the clean up operation now well under way, sadly you can no longer see the work of London's most infamous writers... ...this book allows you never to forget.

I heard alot about this book way before it came out, and when I finally got to see it I could see why. The book is full of quality flicks, quotes and short stories from a great selection of writers. A good read, and a very highly enjoyable viewing experience.
'Re-living the memories' is what I've been doing already this week, so to pick this book up aswel has just highlighted the week for me. Incase you did forget, incase 'the buff' has mis placed your memory, this book 'never lets you forget', and it really does just that.
The book features the last 3 decades of the movement, and it is up until present day but whats best in it, is the more older stuff. The stuff when this city was up on top.
Flicking from page to page was like a nice journey, how getting the train used to be when looking out of the window.
The best thing about the book though, is it just feels proper real, overall. The stories, the writers, pictures, the whole fucking production if you know what I mean... Some books or mags just don't give you that 'real' feeling to it but this one doesn't let us down.
Couple of quotes featured in the book:
'When I see my stuff and it hasn't been lined I think what's up, don't they love me anymore?' - Oker
'The writers bench at Harrow was killer we had a crew called the sure shoot party crew at the back of the Met. We were on the Super T's and the girls were on the ciders. We all hooked up and terror took place.' - Dzia
Really nice book, props to the makers and everyone that made it possible. A great book representing the London scene. Highly recommend.
